Who is hosting the Mid-America Army Birthday Ball?
The Mid America Army Birthday Ball is hosted by the commanders of the Army Element of U.S. Transportation Command, Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, and the DISA Global Operations Command. The Ball is being presented by the Scott Army Booster Club, a private, non-profit organization not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a part of the U.S. Government. The Booster Club was established to foster morale and promote the general benefit of Army personnel assigned to Scott Air Force Base, their families, and the community.

The guest speaker for the 2019 Mid America Army Birthday Ball will be a special guest to be annouced at the Ball.

Music and entertainment will be provided throughout the event.
What time should I arrive?
The reception will start at 5:30 pm. The dinner will be served at 7:00 pm.
Will alcohol be served?
Cash bars will be open during the reception and will remain open throughout the dinner and Ball. All attendees are encouraged to drink responsibly and are reminded to drive responsibly.
How many people will be in attendance?
We expect approximately 250 guests to attend the event.
Will photography be available? A photographer is tentatively scheduled to take photos for the night for a fee, however roaming photographers will capture the fun and excitement of the event. Photographs will be made available online, at no charge, following the event.
